Podbase-CV Tablet is a combination medicine that is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections. This is an infection that affects the sinuses, throat, airways or lungs. The medicine works by killing the infection and stopping its growth, thereby, curing the condition. For better results, it is prescribed to take the medicine on time and for as long as the doctor prescribes you. You can take it with or without food but prefer taking it at the same time each day.

How does it work?

Podbase-CV Tablet contains two medications: cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic that prevents the production of the bacterial protective layer, which is required for bacterial survival. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that lowers resistance and improves Cefpodoxime's antibacterial effectiveness.
